E-Tech Resources Confirms Rare Earth Mineralization in Over 90% of Trenches at Eureka Property in Namibia
E-Tech announced the successful completion of its trenching and sampling program at the Eureka project in Namibia. The program revealed significant rare earth oxide mineralization across multiple locations within Exclusive Prospecting License (“EPL”) 6762.
Highlights:
- The trenching program results continue to confirm the Company’s new exploration model.
- Early results support the concept of a large-scale, stratigraphic, and structural corridor within the Eureka Dome which hosts the rare earth mineralization (see news release: February 6, 2024).
- Four out of the five new targets confirmed rare earth mineralization.
- 18 out of the 19 focussed trenches (639 meters) intercepted rare earth elements bearing monazite mineralization similar to that found in the Eureka Central discovery deposit.
Overview of Exploration Activities at Eureka
E-Tech Resources Unravels Regional-Scale Rare Earth Potential at Its Eureka Tenement in Namibia
E-Tech Resources announced an update on the 2023 exploration activities on its 100%-owned Eureka project on Exclusive Prospecting License (“EPL”) 6762 in Namibia.
They implemented corporate and exploration management changes in the second half of 2023, which resulted in the Company reassessing and revising its exploration strategy and approach.
The reassessment of historic data in 2023 resulted in a revised view of the lithological and structural setting of the light rare earth element (“LREE”) mineralization on the Eureka project and the immediate roll-out of an exploration program including a systematic property-wide geochemical soil sampling program covering the “Eureka dome” structure and selected ultra high-resolution drone-based magnetic surveys in Q4 2023.
E-Tech Resources Inc. Ramps up Exploration Activities and Engages Gecko Namibia and Flightec Namibia
Announcing the engagement of Gecko Namibia (Pty) Ltd. (“Gecko”) and Flightec Namibia (“Flightec”) to support ongoing exploration and development activities on its 100% owned Eureka project.
E-Tech has evaluated the results of the current exploration program and is now expanding its activities to include a Phase 1 Ultra-high resolution UAV-borne magnetic survey. This survey is planned to be conducted by Flightec later this year.
E-Tech Resources Inc. Announces New Discovery at Adder Target
Discovery confirms the presence of mineralization at the surface and depth; further targets to be determined in the newly acquired portion of the Eureka Dome.
- Preliminary pXRF drilling results1 confirm the discovery of a new mineralized zone at the Adder Target, expanding beyond the previously known zones.
- Mineralization remains open at depth and along strike, indicating the potential for further target delineation.
- Intersections include: 1 m @ 0.17% (1700 ppm) TREO2 (37-38 m), 1 m @ 0.71% (7100 ppm) TREO2 (40-41 m), 1 m @ 0.10% (1000 ppm) TREO2 (49-50 m), 3 m @ 0.07% (700 ppm) TREO2 (73-76 m) incl. 1 m @ 0.09% (900 ppm) TREO2 (73-74 m)
High grade Rare Earth Results
- 6.84% TREO (P6860) and 5.22% TREO (P6859) in two samples located approx. 800 m from Zone 1, within drill target T09 (see News Release dated November 16, 2022).
- An additional four (4) samples returned assays grading between 0.48% and 3.05% TREO, validating new targets defined by the Company.
Next Steps at the Eureka Dome
The company has contracted Excel Dynamic Solutions, an independent consulting firm specialising in natural resource sector, has submitted an application for an Environmental Clearance Certificate (ECC).
During this period the company will conduct non-invasive exploration activities that will include desktop interpretation of the government-flown airborne regional geophysical data and reconnaissance ground truthing and evaluating of anomalies. Its expected that this work will highlight areas with anomalous Thorium.

Then we identified several new prospective areas that share similar characteristics to Zones 1-4 and identified 17 New Targets on EPL 6762
New Targets on EPL 6762
We identified 17 new prospective areas that share similar characteristics to Zones 1-4 on EPL 6762.
Started Phase 4 Drill Campaign in Nov 2022
Mineralization characteristics
- Completed a Magnetic survey program totaling 1060 line-km’s
- Completed a wide-spread ground radiometric survey totaling 1224 line-km’s
- And a widespread mapping program covering entire prospective area, approx. 11,200 points.
- Resampling all historical RC drilling from Zone 1-4.
- Finally from Zones 1-4 and the additional information we've identified the main mineralization characteristics and applied that to search for new targets

Then we identified several new prospective areas that share similar characteristics to Zones 1-4
We are still conducting our widespread geological mapping
Conducting infill ground truthing of other potential AOI’s
With a view to identifying more drill targets with similar potential to Zones 1-4
We would like to begin drill testing these new targets in November 2023

Use of XRF Sampling
Since COVID-19, assays can take up to 12-16 weeks turnaround and REE samples are some of the most expensive minerals to assay for;
- Acquired an pXRF (portable XRF)
- Currently the company does not assay every meter (due to time/cost). Sampling is led by RadEye measurements of CPS
The pXRF will allow the company to conduct “live” analysis of all its samples, allow us to build continues elemental composition data sets and it will ultimately lead to a massive cost reduction caused by lengthy sample result delays.
